Drill at Seventh Gallery

Above image: digital video still from Drill

Drill is a spacial intervention, a ridiculous one at that. Formally and aesthetically, it is concerned with surface and the tension of its rhythmic, and deliberate destruction.

Conceptually, this video is an exploration of architectural interventions and feminist concerns. It is a seemingly simple narrative pertaining to entropy as ‘a measure of the disorder that exists in a system’.

Installation images : Drill, Night Screen, Seventh Gallery, Melbourne.
